Over fifty years ago, Brother David, SSF began using this prayer with adults. It was immediately taken to. Over fifty years later it still comes up so often in my own prayers and I have been thinking of it in thinking about teaching young and very young children to pray. We seem to take for granted children know we mean when we say "prayer," and yet, I wonder. I wonder what it means to them if they have never been taught to pray and know nothing of "God." I think this might be a good place to begin, just having kids say this very, very slowly, and quietly... O my God, you are here. O my God, I am here. And always, always, you love me; When I am good with a love that makes you glad; when I am bad with a love that makes you sad, but always, always, you love me! And then attentive silence ("My soul in silence waits," says the Psalmist)." Just listening, and only listening, for moments, for weeks, for years, decades, for a lifetime, 'til God speaks, for there is really no need for words... And then perhaps later... O my God, you are here. O my God, I am here. O my God, _________* is here. *someone else O my God, we are here. And always, always, you love us; When we are good with a love that makes you glad; when we are bad with a love that makes you sad, but always, always, you love us! And then attentive silence. Just listening, and only listening. It was not to the High Priest Eli doing his daily ministrations that The LORD spoke, but to a young child, one "who did not know The LORD." Just thinking.

Well, officially home in Eagle Butte after a few days in the hospital in Rapid. I thank ALL of you for your calls and prayers. I am making a comeback after having a small Myasthenia Gravis crisis which seems to have been stopped before a full blown crisis. Doing OK. Than you for yor concern and prayers.

They ask that there be no phone calls to them at this time. Father of all, we pray to you for those we love, but see no longer: Grant Amy your peace; let light perpetual shine upon her; and, in your loving wisdom and almighty power, work in her the good purpose of your perfect will; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen Heavenly Father, We entrust all who are dear to us, especially John and Pat, to your never-failing care and love most especially at this time in their shock and grief at the death of Amy, knowing you are doing for them better things than we can desire and pray for, hold them closer and closer to your heart where Amy dwells in your Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ you Son who also died and rose again drawing us all-together in him where Love dwells forever. First of all, I find the questions an insult to myself as a Christian, no, Catholic-- the word "Christian" has been taken over via the News Media as meaning "evangelical" christians only. Secondly if these questions determine my life as a Christian I know why I despisse "evangelical (sic) Christianity." Oh, by the way, two of the questions I got wrong were accidentally clicked! Poor Jesus. Why did I waste my time doing this????

At Mass yesterday, I had a strange vision... not that I "saw" this, but "was seeing" this,-- that the, not "death," but the "dying" of Jesus on the cross was itself the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the realization in seeing him dying, the sacrament of his having had given his living Life, his "Flesh and Blood" to, not for us on "the night before he was betrayed." I agree with St. Aphraates that that "was the evening sacrifice," and that could never have been understood by those in the upper room on the night his life was given [ל] to us, hence the next day understood as [ל] for us. It is interesting that it was his Living Body and Blood that Jesus gave-away that Night asking that his followers share-together in it. He did not participate. And that is why his followers could not share in his death, else he would be giving his dead body and dead blood. All this, but for the most part of church history we have seen the Body and Blood of the Night he was betrayed as the sacrament of his Death on the Cross on Friday-- just the reverse. It is his Living Flesh and Living Blood that he gives "for the Life of the World," not his dead body.

Laus Deo!!! God Willing in about 45 minutes we will have hot water!!!! God bless Sean Red Bear!!!! He came over and not only fixed wht electrical for the hot water heater but even turned it up so we can have real hot water. Thanks Sean! Thanks a gillion! Wow! A bath!!

Anytime we are in town we visit this wonderful place. Their luncheon buffet 11:00am to 2:30 pm daily is exceptional! The buffet menu changes daily so I wish I could eat there daily. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. You get the feeling they love their restaurant and love being there to serve you. Please try out Everest. You will leave thinking this is the best meal I have had since we last ate here. Thanks Everest for being in Our town!oh yes, the prices are right! Oh, order their Chai and Mango Lassi!

But primarily a military might show of force by an adulterous woman abuser to demonstrate his ED to the World is unfathomable. Diarrhea from one end and the other at least can be wiped clean, but with this ora-face (pun intended) there isn’t enough TP in the military budget to wipe this AH.
