dorea tou theou

“If you knew the gift of God...” (4:10).

The Greek term is dorea, used only here in the
Gospel accounts, which actually signifies a “free gift”. A free gift is just not part of the political economy, i.e., the aMErican economic system, and therefore incomprehensible to the World and its religions today. Such a gift would end the capitalist-individualist system which is the only basis of civilization left to the World.
