Response to "Trinitarian" needs to be blown out of the water again...."

Aho Mitakuye Oyasin....

Margaret had written on her blog Saturday July 26:

"Trinitarian" needs to be blown out of the water again...." And Justin responded to her post.

I am responding to both of them here because the "Comment" thingy said this way too long to post, and I had spent a lot of time on it and was not going to waste or trash it....

so.... Yeah Justin--- "And Francis said to the Olive tree, 'Speak to me of God,' and the olive tree blossomed." --Nikos Kazantzakis, St. Francis [hmmm....... or was it Kazantzakis himself?].  I think it is ALL Trinitarian:

Indeed, as Paul in the Epistle today (Sunday) says, "it is the Spirit who prays in us," just as it is the Spirit that prays in "All Our Relatives [Mitakuye Oyasin]," including the "trees, the beasts, the flowers," bugs and rocks and Sun and Stars and neutrinos and Man,---indeed it was The Spirit in Jesus that Jesus gave it back (κενοσις) into the hands of His Father who gave it, and that Self-Same Spirit (πρόσωπον, then to the Latin Persona, then the English Person) at Pentecost that Son "poured-out" on all of the very Creation that he created in the beginning, when that same Spirit was not in, but "hovered over" 'til that same Spirit came down and entered-into Jesus of Nazareth (κενοσις του πνεθματου) and that Jesus who at that moment became a PERSON ([persona or in the Greek, πρόσωπον] and no longer an individual), ONE-together-with (συν) the One Child, and the Child was seen by the Baptist, the Voice of The Spirit, The Pro-phet (ο προ-φητης, the one who can SEE in the Spirit [Seer]) The ONE "Only-Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" in the Flesh. "The Spirit (ο πνευμα) of יהוה fills the whole earth," says the Psalmist-- every single 'Relative or All-Related' thing (Mitakuye Oyasin); but in Christ Jesus now, as Christians, we see in Christ, not Τhe Spirit "in" or "on" the man Jesus of Nazareth, but יהוה ipse se, "(having) become Flesh," One"of the same substance or -ing (or ουσια = substantia) and thank heaven since very recently the Pope and the Metropolitian of the Eastern Church FINALLY agreed was the same [sorry for the pun]) as and with the Father, One with the Resurrected Son (The NEW [hu]MAN[ity], and One with Us-in-Him," we see the One looked-out for, longed for, the Christ, the Anointed of God, God's Delight, God's ONLY be-gotten Son, indeed the very Logos in Flesh and Blood. The Creator has become One with his very Creation--- yet True God of True God, and Begotten, not MADE as was the (old) Man Adam.

So... however, all this is not coming from "theology," but from the very visible-in-stuff seen economy (οικονοωια) of our One life-together (-in συν Christ)-- and from the Holy Scriptures, not theology or philosophy, but from our One Prayer, i.e., the Spirit-Praying-in-US, our One Worship (worth-ship-ness "by, with, and 'togetherness-in' συν Christ")-ness that that makes All Things not only One-together-With (εν)-Each-Other, but One with (συν) The One Father, "Our Father" in Heaven. I guess I see the "Mitakuye Oyasin," "All-Are-Related" as "All-things-sharing-Life-Together-in-the-Spirit," the Very Giver of Life, and then see (As John says in The Revelation, "And THEN looking over there I saw...") I see in The Incarnation, The WORD (Mitakuye Oyasin) spoken-made-Flesh "All-Our-Relatives (Mitakuye Oyasin)" as our BE-ing One, i.e., One BE-ing (ex-ist-ing)-sharing-together-in the Very Living Life-in-Stuff-ness (σαρχ) One-ness with (συν) The Son. For me, there is a BIG difference between "God-in (εν)-Me and also God-in (εν)-YOU, and also God-in (εν)-Her and God-also-in(εν)-HIM too," and "Us-All-together-in ( εις)-Christ-in (εις)-God." None the less, neither (Way of seeing and living in the world) is "bad (κακος) ," neither is good (αγαθος), yet both are good (καλος) (because God said so "In the Beginning" and has thus said so "From the Beginning." And I (personally would believe or say) BOTH CAN be seen ONLY "In-The-Spirit," NEVER with the eyes of Flesh (ὀφθαλμός or even Εγω), but the I's (περσονα) in and of (εv and tou) The Spirit. (And no matter how THAT is SAID, the blind will never hear it or see it with ears of flesh or see it even "cured" eyes of flesh and blood, only those who BY HIM, and are WITH HIM, and IN HIM will see (with healed, not cured eyes) and THEN know (γνωσις) THROUGH the Holy Spirit! To me, The Way of the Pipe, the smoke, the-sharing-together in the Self-Same smoke is the Way of the Trinity because in those who share-together-in-it become One with one another, (THROUGH) Filled with the Spirit (breath of Life shared, visible in and as the smoke) they ex-hale and return to the One who gives it (for me, The Father)-- so who can they not help but BE?? sharing in that stuff of Mother Earth (the Herbs-now dead and burned, returning to the Giver of Life)--- not the gardeners but The Resurrected Body of Christ in Living and BREATHING the very Smoke of The Life of ALL things) Flesh and Blood, i.e., The Church; And the Way of Incarnation, is the Way of sharing-together the self-same stuff, the Flesh and Blood of the Living Christ, filled with that Self-Same Spirit, the Giver of the Old and now The New Life, which we too (and most especially in Christ) return to the One who gives it (for me, the Self-Same Father). "We-Are-All-Related" because through the Holy Spirit ONLY, we are One in Christ and there one with the Father-- IN Him and THROUGH the Spirit! The Pipe is the Sign in this Place; The Church is the Sign in this Place. The Sign saying "You are entering (into) Eagle Butte" can be found on the North of Town, on the East, West, and South of Town--- there are Four Signs, but ALL Point [interestingly in DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS {different rubrics} to Exactly the SAME (homousion) (ὁμουσιον) thing. I personally JOY (and indeed "just Glories") in "The Four Directions" or seven, or nine, or quadrillions directions! Just as I Joy in the SPIRIT IN the Flesh!

OK, ........ now I see what Margaret was writing about. I just "justified (as in setting up the lines on this page I could "justify," Justin [pun NOT intended--- only Christ justifies us lol]) the Red Road to the Western Road for myself. So I am STILL using Western thought. Is there anyone who can do the same for my Other Self, "my" Other but/and Related Self to That Self[same] Self? Whew.

Well, at least the old ticker is ticking; whether or not its hands are making sense of the time is another thing. Thanks for allowing me to "think on" these things--Justin, Margaret. To keep St. Paul happy, to me, such things are Joy and so Good! to think on-- καλος, kalos! perhaps others might even see them as Wašte!*

Aho Mitakuye Oyasin.... All my relations.

I honor you in this circle of life with me today. I am grateful for this opportunity to acknowledge you in this prayer.... To the Creator, for the ultimate gift of life, I thank you. To the mineral nation that has built and maintained my bones and all foundations of life experience, I thank you. To the plant nation that sustains my organs and body and gives me healing herbs for sickness, I thank you. To the animal nation that feeds me from your own flesh and offers your loyal companionship in this walk of life, I thank you. To the human nation that shares my path as a soul upon the sacred wheel of Earthly life, I thank you. To the Spirit nation that guides me invisibly through the ups and downs of life and for carrying the torch of light through the Ages, I thank you. To the Four Winds of Change and Growth, I thank you. You are all my relations, my relatives, without whom I would not live. We are in the circle of life together, co-existing, co-dependent, co-creating our destiny. One, not more important than the other. One nation evolving from the other and yet each dependent upon the one above and the one below. All of us a part of the Great Mystery. Thank you for this Life. Aho! yelo!

*I guess, if you do not speak Lakota, you will see all of this as Waste, but the little thingy (the jot or tittle over the "s" says that it is not "Trash." lol....on a pun roll and can't stop.... not κακος kakos, but good καλος kalos....

I just spent 20 minutes writing a considered response in the Comment box, and it's disappeared!!!

Okay, in a nutshell: cosmic dust, Marcus Borg and Is-ness, Chi.

  2. Sorry guy! Just found your response here today. Here's min so far: Marcus Borg; we knew him in Oregon. His wife was a priest at the Cathedral and so we saw him once in a while. But I have real trouble with him. He is interested in the anthropoid "Jesus" which indeed most Christian monotheists say they believe in. But, for me, and I think at least the Eastern Church, that Jesus is quite dead. The WHO be became, was, is now, and ever shall be is the Christ, the "annointed one (thinking in the Greek from the LXX and NOT from the later Hebrew "messiah"-bit)" whose name is ineffable, יהוה --- who is The Is-ness ὸ ῶν, and indeed the Chi of the East! Yet, without the Jesus of Nazareth, we would never have known The Christ, and without the death of Jesus of Nazareth, we would never have known the Resurrection, for indeed, if Jesus "came back from the dead," we are indeed lost, for that is but resuscitation. The point is not his "coming back to life [as we know it]" but through death his anastasis to the right hand of the Father, to the Very Name which is above every name-- יהוה. Knowledge CAN never attain to this; ONLY faith may and can, and that faith needs no reason (logos, or even Logos), for it is the very Silence of יהוה IN and OF Himself. I would venture to say also that once one has attained that faith, reason becomes turned-in on itself and becomes useless.
